Custom song prices in 2026, the full ladder

Roughly: most AI song shops run $24 to $50. Mid-tier services with a human touch land around $50 to $150. A real songwriter recording a real performance is $150 to $300 and up. Wedding and commercial commissions go past that, sometimes well past. Ours sits under the whole ladder at $5.

What actually changes the price

Three things. Whether a human writes and performs it, how fast you need it, and how many revisions you get. Speed is the sneaky one. Some services charge nearly double for a 24-hour turnaround versus a 30-day one, for exactly the same song.

What you get for $5

Ours. A full song about a specific person, their name sung in it, in one of sixty-plus styles, up to six versions, delivered in minutes with an MP3, plus a video in either style when you want one. It's written and performed by AI, steered by a real prompt system we spend a lot of time on.

When a $200 human songwriter is worth it

Honestly, sometimes it's. If you want a real acoustic performance for a first dance, a specific vocalist, live instrumentation, or something you will still be playing at an anniversary in twenty years, pay the money. That's a different product from what we make, and it should cost more.

How much is a personalized song gift, really

For a gift, the useful comparison isn't other songs. It's the $6 card you would have bought instead. That's the frame we designed around, and it's why the number is five.

Questions

Why do custom songs cost $100 to $300?

Because a person is writing, performing, and producing it, and that's a real day of skilled work. The price is mostly labour, plus a premium if you need it quickly.

Is a $5 custom song any good?

It's a real, full-length, produced song with their name sung in it. It's not a live acoustic performance by a session musician. If it doesn't land, you get your money back, which is the most honest answer we can give.

What is the difference between AI and human custom songs?

Speed, price, and performance. AI gets you something good in minutes, for five dollars here and up to about fifty elsewhere. A human gets you something crafted in a few days for a few hundred, with a real voice and real instruments behind it.

What about the free options?

Yes, and they're worth trying if what you want is a name inserted into a template. They're a different thing from a written song about a specific person, and they generally sound like it.

What is included at $5?

The song, up to six versions, a shareable link, an MP3, and a video in either style when you ask for it: lyrics on screen, or your own photos. No subscription and no upsell.
